Last folio bears statement that MS was compared 1149 [1736] with the one from which it was copied., Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 52 + ii ; catchwords ; quires signed: 2-6 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 17 lines per page., Description: Written in naskhi ; rubricated ; overlining and other use of red ; watermarks (crown over roman-alphabet letters in an oval, grapes) ; MS in good condition., Origin: According to colophon copied Friday 25 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1145 by Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Laṭīf al-Ḥanbalī (fol. 52b)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم قالت الخنساء بنت عمروبن الشريد بن رياح بن يقظة بن خفّاف [خفاف] بن امرى القيس بن وهنة بن سليم ترثي اخاها صخر بن عمرو, Colophon: وکان الفراغ منه صبيحة يوم الجمعة المبارك خامس عشرين شهر ذي القعدة المبارك سنة خمس واربعين ومائة والف على يد افقر الورى محمد بن عبد اللطيف الحنبلي غفر الله له ولوالديه ولمشايخه وللمسلمين اجمعين آمين | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown fabric and brown speckled paper. Brown paper pastedowns and flyleaves. | Ownership signatures on fol. 1a include: ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh; ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻUthmān ibn Jāmiʻ dated 1212; Muḥammad Amīn ibn al-Ḥājj Muḥammad al-ʻAṭṭār dated 1197.
