On the folio before the title page are four verses of poetry, two by Ḥusayn al-Marṣafī, 1308 [1890/1] and the other two by another., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday 5 Jumādá I 1284 by Ḥasanayn ibn Muḥammad ibn Muṣṭafá al-Miṣrī (fol. 210b)., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: انتهى. کتبه لنفسه الفقير لمولاه الکريم حسنين بن محمد بن مصطفى المصري وکان نجاز کتابته صبيحة يوم الاربعاء خامس ايام خلت من جمادى الاولى سنه 1284 هجرية وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه وسلم تسليما کثيرا کثيرا. ان تجد عيبا فسد الخللا * جلّ من لافيه عيب وعلا, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذي اجرى في بحار الافکار سفينة الفصاحة | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants. Blind-tooled frame and edging. Blind-stamped motif and blind-tooled edging on flap. Endbands.
