Opening spread frame-ruled with multiple, alternating red and black lines (fol. 1b-2a)., Origin: Copied by Muḥyī al-Dīn al-Salṭī and completed in the middle of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1074 (1663) -- colophon (fol. 196b)., Incipit: من علامة الاعتماد على العمل نقصان الرجا عند وقوع الزلل لعلم نور الله قلبك بانوار المعارف, Explicit: فهذا الشهود كان مع الله فى الحضرة بالمعية و بعد ذلك تكون فى الحضرة العندية | Type II (with flap) binding in brown leather over pasteboard. Blind fillets around borders, and blind-stamped mandorlas in the centre of covers. Similar decoration on flap. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in yellow paper.
