Notlar Three first parts (juzʼ) of an Imāmī treatise on theological questions, often in relation with a Qur'anic verse. Apparently some leaves missing at the beginning of the copy. Incomplete at end. | Ms. codex., Title from ijāzah on fol. 1a., Physical description: 23 lines per page. Written in clear medium large naskh in black ink with use of red for headings. Dark cream paper with laid and chain lines visible ; frame-ruled. The upper part of fol. 1 is a later repair. Chiefly quinions. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (blank between fol. 40 and 41). Loose leaves., Collation: Paper, fol. 247 ; 1¹⁰ (-3 in the first half of the quire) 2-25¹⁰. Catchword on the verso of the first four leaves and the last leaf of each quire from fol. 7 on ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "Tāsiʻ al-Ghurar" (see fol. 77a ; often cut off due to the trimming of the pages)., On fol. 1a: Ijāzah with chain of transmission for Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Zayn al-Dīn Jaʻfar ibn Ḥusayn al-Anbārī from Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad ibn Jaʻfar ibn al-Ṭarrāḥ, dated Rabīʻ al-Awwal 723 (or 713?) [1323 or 1313], followed by another inscription., Incipit: مجلس اول تاويل اية قال الله جل من قايل واذا اردنا ان نهلك قرية امرنا مترفيها ففسقوا فيها فحق عليها القول فدمرناها تدميرا فى هذه الاية وجوه من التاويل, End as extant: عليه ما تقدم وذلك واضح بين بعون الله تعالى والله الموفق للصواب مجلس اخر تاويل خبر اخر كل مولود | Dark brown leather with central scalloped mandorla for upper and lower covers. Rebacked. Badly damaged ; disbound. | Obliterated ownership statement dated Dhū al-Qaʻdah 11--? on fol. 1a (later repair), with obliterated seal. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942. | Mach, R.
