Catalogue d'une collection de manuscrits arabes et turcs, no. 217)., Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 295 + (1) ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in gold and black., Description: Rubricated with use of green and red ; watermarks., Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) in gold and colours on fol. 1b, with basmalah. Fol. 1b-2a frame-ruled with two gold bands and multiple lines in black and red. Gold headings and circles on these opening folios., Origin: Copy completed on 21 Rajab 1146 [Dec. 28, 1733] by Ismaʻīl ibn Walī al-Dīn (colophon, fol. 274b)., Incipit: الحمد لله المنفرد باسمه الاسمي المختص بالملك الاعز الاحمى ... [2أ] ... اما بعد اشرق الله قلبي وقلبك بانوار اليقين., Explicit: ولا يردّ دعوة القاصدين ولا يصلح عمل المفسدين وهو حسبنا ونعم الوكيل وصلى الله على نبينه محمد خاتم النبيين وسلّم تسليماً كثيراً كمل الديوان المبارك. | Type II (with flap) binding in brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Gold-tooled and painted, with a central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis outlined in gold with radiating flecks, and an outer border consisting of fillets and a guilloche.
