The first (fol. 26b) by al-Dawwānī begins with the opening words of Sūrah 68:1. The second (fol. 30a) and third (fol. 36a) are of unknown authorship, the latter begins with the words of Sūrah 96:4, 5. The fourth (fol. 42a) is that of ʻAlī Chalabī al-Ḥumaydi (Qināhʹlīʹzādah)., 4. fol. 46b-60a; 22: Risālah qalamīyah. Essay in description of the pen and its value. A note before the colophon indicates that the work was composed 1082., 5. fol. 61b-91a; 22: Sharḥ ʻalá qasīdat madḥ. A commentary on an ode in praise of Fayḍ Allāh Aḥmad, grand mufti of the Ottoman empire under the Sulṭān Muṣṭafá, probably Muṣṭafá II 1106-1115 [1695-1703]. | Contemporaneous? type III (without flap) binding in red leather.
