Written in medium small naskh in black ink (faded to brown) with use of red. Red dots text-stops. Thick cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins. Several inscriptions on fol. 88b. Fol. 1 is a later addition, with inscriptions (ownership statements on the recto; bibliographical note on the author on the verso). According to the catchword, some leaves are missing between fol. 7 and 8, 9 and 10., Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "S 354".
