The examination was held under the direction of the Shaykh al-Islām Aḥmad Asʻad Afandī Muḥammad Ṣāliḥzādah at the order of the Sultan. The author was the examiner. A few additions given after the colophon., 2. fol. 15b-18b: [Asʼilat imtiḥān wa-ajwibatuhā] Examination questions and their answers based on the Talkhīṣ al-miftāḥ by Jamāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, Khaṭīb Dimashq 666-739 [1267/8-1338], which is a commentary on the Miftāḥ al-ʻulūm, a work on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī 555-626 [1160-1228/9], and on Sharḥ al-Talkhīṣ, the commentary of Saʻd al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī 722-792 [1322-1389/90] on al-Talkhīṣ. The examination was held under the direction of the Shaykh al-Islām Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn Afandī., 3. fol. 19b-23b: [Asʼilah wa-ajwibah] A fragmentary commentary on a work on rhetoric followed by questions and answers on the same subject., 4. fol. 24b-27a: [Asʼilah wa-ajwibah], 5. fol. 27b-29b: Risālah ʻalá mabḥath al-khabar yaḥtamilu al-ṣidq wa-al-kadhib / Khalīl ibn Ḥasan.
