Lower margin worm-eaten., Two spine labels (vertical), reading respectively: "Irshād al-murīdīn fī ḥikāyāt al-ṣāliḥīn li- ibn al-Jawzī" (in Arabic script), and "78" (in Arabic and Western numerals)., Origin: Copy completed in Shaʻbān 1003 [April-May 1595] by Aḥmad ibn Ḥaydar ibn Ḥasan Shīrawī (colophon, fol. 123b)., Incipit: الحمد لله الذى نوّر قلوب العارفين بنور المعرفة والايقان وطهّرها من ظلمة الغفلة والطغيان ... قال مولف هذا الكتاب سالنى ولدى علا الدين على حفظه الله تعالى ان اجمع له مختصرا فى علم التصوف واذكر فيه من الايات الكريمة والاحاديث الغريبة, Explicit: قال الله تعالى وان ليس للانسان الا ما ينبغى وان سعيه سوف يرى ثم يحزاه الجزآء الاوفى والله اعلم \| Quarter-bound with flap, in olive-green cloth and dark brown leather.
