Fol. 1a has another title above the main one, suggesting that the ms is a collection of several works: Ayyuha al-Walad and Bidāyat al-Hidāyah by al-Ghazzālī and Majmūʻat Majālis Fiqhīyah by Ḥafiẓ al-Nasafī (this was possibly a part of a larger ms?). A circle in black ink on the inside of upper cover and a drawing made up of concentric and overlapping circles on the inside of lower cover., Collation: Paper ; fol. 109 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 27 lines per page., Description: Overlining in black ; MS in good condition., Incipit: بسملة وبه نستعين الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة على سيدنا محمد واله وصحبه اجمعين باب فى بيان الايمان اعلم يجب ان يعتقد العبد, Explicit: قال اليوم التاسع وقال بعضهم اليوم الحادى عشر واكثرهم على انه اليوم العاشر \| Type II (with flap) binding in dark burgundy leather over pasteboard. Blind fillets around borders of covers. Blind stamped mandorlas in the centre with a single blind fillet along the vertical axis towards the edges of covers. Blind fillets and a blind stamped mandorla on the envelope flap. Pastedowns in cream paper. Lining to the envelope flap in marbled paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in burgundy leather.
