This work is known as ʻUmdat al-bayān fī maʻrifat farāʼiḍ al-aʻyān, and its authorship is attributed either to al-Waghlīsī himself (al-Bajāʼī), or to al-Ṣabbagh (possibly an alternate name for al-Waghlīsī?)., 2. fol. 167a-187b: Kitāb Sharḥ al-mubham min maʻānī al-sullam / lil-ʻālam Aḥmad al-Damanhūrī. A commentary on al-Sullam al-murawnaq fī al-manṭiq., 3. fol. 188a-188b: [Fawāʼid] Includes notes on the founders of the four schools of Islamic law, al-Nawawī, and ʻAbd al-Ḥayy al-Ḥanafī., 4. fol. 189a-253a: Hādhā Kitāb Sharḥ ʻalá al-Sullam fī ʻilm al-manṭiq / al-Shaykh al-Mullawī al-Ṣaghīr.
