The wording of the text follows the transmission of Abū Saʿd Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥafṣ ibn Khalīl al-Mālīnī (d. 412/1022; GAL S I/362; Kaḥḥālah II/71-72; Ziriklī I/211). The MS discontinues in the middle of bāb al-ghayn maʿa al-wāf. Several pages were bound in the wrong place. The following information can be found in a note on the doublure of the front cover: ff. 104-107 comes after f. 40, ff. 114-135 follows f. 103 and ff. 136-137 follows f. 113. ff. 3-30 and ff. 31-136 were written by different hands f. 137: extract from a legal work
