Notlar	Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; fore-edge flap and spine renewed; central ornament of the covers: circle with lobed outline and two fleuron pendants; in the middle of the circle an eight-leaved flower surrounded by eight quatrefoils; the circle is filled with leaf and flower scrolls; circular stamp filled with trefoil at the periphery; the corners are filled with an interlace pattern; frame border: several ruled lines and a band of quatrefoils touching each other and filled with lilies; mandorla toward the tip of the envelope flap, the middle of which contains an area filled with an interlace pattern; this is flanked on both sides by panels filled with crescent stamps, the corners are filled with an interlace pattern; frame border consists of ruled lines and a band of stamps in the shape of the letter s; doublures of the covers and the fore-edge flap made of paper, doublure of the envelope flap made of embossed leather — black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Treatise on the principles of Islamic law. ff. 1-11 have been written by a different hand than the rest of the text. in the margin: collation references
