The books are as follows: al-tawbah (ff. 2b-56a), al-ṣabr wa-al-shukr (ff. 56a-128b), al-khawf wa-al-rajāʾ (ff. 129a-169a), al-faqr wa-al-zuhd (ff. 169a-219a), al-tawḥīd wa-al-tawakkul (ff. 219a-266b). The 5th book is incomplete. f. 1b: praise on al-Ghazālī ff. 267a-267b: about Ghazālīʾs life and his works taken form the Ta'rīkh al-khamīs and other sources
