Notlar	Reddish-brown Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; central ornament of the covers: circle, enlaced by six interlaced loops which pass into stylized fleurons as pendants above and below the circle; an infill of golden dots amid circle and loops; frameborder consists of three golden lines and a golden interlaced band; design of the envelope flap equals the cover; doublures of covers and envelope flap of rose coloured, gold-speckled paper, doublure of fore-edge flap of red paper; red quarter leather slipcase with covers and flap of marbled paper with stone pattern — ff. 1b-2a: text area framed in red and a double golden line framed in black — black — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Pilgrimage of Ibn al-Ṭayyib from Fes to Medina. He left on 4. Rajab 1139/25.02.1727 and came back on the 6. Dhū al-Qaʿda 1140/14.06.1728. Before the travel account of the pilgrimage, one finds four introductive chapters (muqaddima), followed by a summary (khātimah). In the introductive chapters, Ibn al-Ṭayyib describes the merits of the pilgrimage, the merits of visiting the prophet's tomb, the impact of the journey and the travel preparations. The summary contains above all a number of recommendations for the pilgrimage. There is a gap in the text from the lower part of f. 65b to f. 66a.
