Text frames black and yellow; verse markers black circles filled with yellow; surah headings in red or yellow ink set in ruled frames. Each juz’ has a full double decorated frame, marked in the text with a roundel inscribed with the juz’ number, and with the first word in red. — 23 double decorated frame, with rectangular frames in green, red, yellow, black, reserved white — black, red, green, yellow — paper — Opulently illuminated Koran manuscript of Southeast Asian provenance, presumably Kalimantan, beginning of 19th century
