Notlar	Extensive marginal comments, minhiyyāt and other quotations from various works, ascribed to several dozen scholars. Almost no corrections (one omission noted, fol. 42v), no signs of collation. — Ottoman binding, leather and paper; early 17th century; Das Volumen ist 80 mm dick. Osmanischer Einband, dunkelbraunes Leder und hellbraunes Papier. Der Bezug ist ca. 1 mm dick. Mit zwei Garnarten genäht: dunkelblau und hellviolett. Die Ränder wurden beschnitten, aber die meisten Marginalien sind erhalten geblieben, indem das Papier an jedem Ende einer Randnotiz abgeschnitten und nach innen gefaltet wurde. Gesamtzustand gut, aber der Einband ist beschädigt, einige Lagen sind sehr locker. — Several varieties of Nastaʿlīq, the main text (foll. 3b-34b) in a very neat and artfully written hand, other texts and marginalia more cursive and naskh-like. Black ink, red ink used for overlinings and in some marginal glosses. Small circles in gold paint used as textual dividers, mainly in the introduction (foll. 3b-6b). Single word catchwords, bottom of each verso page. — black, gold, red — Arabic script → Nastaʽlīq — paper — F. 3b-6b: Introduction in rhymed prose, where the work is described as a commentary by Muhammad Salami-zade on the tafsir by Ebussuud Efendi, dedicated to "Sultan Murad [III, reigned 1574-1595], son of Sultan Selim, son of Sultan Suleyman". F. 6b-34b: the commentary on surat Nuḥ. F. 35a-55a: Various shorter texts (muḥarrarāt), most in Ottoman Turkish, one in Arabic, by the same Salami-zade (acc. to note on fol. 35a), but also ascribed to a certain Qalandar Efendi in the colophons of the various texts. Text missing between f. 54 and 55. F. 55a-55b: end of text missing, quotations from tafsīr-works and from ḥadīṯ.
