Notlar	Dark brown Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; spine and fore-edge flap have been renewed; central ornament of the covers and the fore-edge flap: mandorla with lobed perimeter filled with floral scrolls; doublures of the covers and the envelope flap made of paper, doublure of the fore-edge flap made of cloth — ff. 1b-2a: golden text area border with black outline — black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Commentary on the well-known compendium on Arabic grammar by Abū al-Qāsim Maḥmūd ibn ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad al-Zamakhsharī (d. 538/1143-1144; EI2 IX/432-434; GAL I/289-296 S I/507-513; Kaḥḥālah XII/186-187; Ziriklī VII/178). The text of the original work begins with the expression qāla ṣāḥib al-kitāb, the commentary with the expression qāla al-shāriḥ. Our MS ends abruptly in the middle of qism al-rābiʿ fī al-mushtarak (part four concerning homonyms).
