Notlar	Reddish-brown Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; spine, envelope flap and fore-edge flap have been renewed using different leather; central ornament of the covers: mandorla with lobed perimeter, an infill of floral scrolls, two fleuron pendants and for each an octagon as connecting motif; the frame consists of a wide border that contains two cartouches alternating with four quatrefoils with floral infill; the border is framed by two golden bands of s-stamps and golden lines; gold paper was applied to the ornaments; doublures of the fore-edge flap and envelope flap made of paper; doublures of the covers have red leather which features a mandorla with two fleuron pendants like that of the covers; the corners are curved and also filled with floral scrolls; there are two quarter sections of a mandorla along each long side located between the corners; the ornaments are on a gold background; the frame consists of a band of gold s-shaped stamps and gold lines — double red text area frame f. 1b: golden text area frame in black outline the ʿunwān consists of a rectangular area in which the Basmala is presented in silver decorative Kūfī script on blue ground with golden floral scrolls — black, red — paper — Compendium on doctrinal theology. It is not certain whether Muhammad Efendi Adranawī/Adranawī is the author of this compendium. His name is given twice below the title on page 1a, introduced with the expression ṣāḥibuhū and ṣāḥib min kitāb respectively. In this context the term ṣāḥib can mean on the one hand that Muhammad Efendi Adranawī/Adranawī is the author of the text or on the other hand that he is just the owner of the manuscript. In the text itself he is not mentioned. Ḥājjī Khalīfah IV/271, no. 8385 cites a Persian work with the same title and attributes it to the Twelver Shia (Imāmi Shia). ff. 2a-3b: added by a later hand on European paper
