Only text writen in Javanese script is translated. — black — paper — On the front part of the envelope, there are 3 lines writing, in Javanese script and language: // ngalamat serat kahatur ingkang eyang kangjeng tuwan ingkang wicaksana leonar burehgrap/ de bis degisinyi gurnadur nagari ing suwit braban, kumendur saking bintang ageng nagari ing nederland/kumisaris jendral ing nagari ing nederland india.// On back part of the envelope there are 3 red seals. In the seal, there are 2 circles. Inside of the circle there is writing in Javanese script and language: “kangjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Purabaya ing Surakarta Adiningrat 1745” and in the outside of the circle there is capital letter in Latin script: KANGJENG GOOSTIE PANGERAN ADIPATI ... WOOR HOESARN., Pangeran Adipati Purabaya asked Leonard Burgraaf De Gisignies, that he requested to be a soldier of The Netherland kingdom in Surakarta. The text closed by the circle red seal.
