Notlar Dark brown Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap: fore-edge flap has been renewed in red leather; central ornament of the covers: octagon with lobed perimeter filled with floral scrolls and two fleuron pendants; bevelled corners filled with three fleuron stamps and two fleuron pendants; frame consists of a line-pattern; a mandorla toward the tip of the envelope flap with lobed perimeter filled with floral scrolls; doublures of the covers and the envelope flap made of Hatip-Ebrû marbled paper, doublures of the fore-edge flap made of paper — a blue-gold framed rectangular area contains a cartouche in which is written a part of the title on blue ground with floral scrolls; a blue-red-gold mandorla protrudes from the rectangular area into the margin; a shamsah likewise framed in blue-gold and set beneath the rectangular area comprises the rest of the title ff. 3b-4a: text area frame outlined in blue and black — black — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — The second part of a work concerning the pros and cons of wine drinking with numerous examples from poetry and anecdotes. f. 149b: The copyist compared his copy with an exact copy (al-aṣl al-manqūl).
