Notlar thick brown cardboard covered with marbled paper with a pattern of brown stripes — The ms. is very carefully written by two different, equally appealing hands. The first, somewhat stiffer, goes from f. 1r-233v, the second from f. 234r-413r. Significant differences in the orthography of both scribes are absent. — brown, black — paper — The story of Iskandar Zulkarnein in Malay language is a work that has been adopted and adapted from Islamic literature. Iskandar is portrayed as a Muslim hero fighting to spread the religion of Allah in the lands he conquered. It begins with the story of the Prophet Abraham and the other prophets of Allah; followed by s a description of an ancestor of King Iskandar, who married his own daughter, Humani. Humani gave birth to a son named Darab. Darab married Safiya Arqiya, the daughter of Raja Rom, and his son Raja Iskandar succeeded Raja Rome on the throne. Furthermore, Darab married Sudagin, who also gave birth to a son: Dora, who was later named King of Babil (Raja Babil). Raja Babil demands tribute from the King of Rome, but Raja Iskandar rejects this demand. There is a war that Raja Iskandar wins. However, Raja Iskandar is conceited and perpetrated by victories gained in several battles - possessed by Iblis (a jinn) - several acts which are not pleasing to Allah. Finally, Allah sends the Prophet Kadir to lead him back to the right path. Iskandar becomes a man of faith and struggles to spread Islam in the countries that he conquered. In the end Raja Iskandar marries the girl Nuraini.
