Notlar	Red Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; spine renewed with light brown leather; central ornament of the covers: mandorla with lobed perimeter and an infill of floral scrolls; corner-pieces; frame-border line-patterned; towards the tip of the envelope flap is a mandorla with lobed perimeter and an infill of leaf scrolls; doublures of the covers and the envelope flap are of paper; doublure of the fore-edge flap is of leather — black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Commentary of the author on his own poem with the rhyme letter tā' dedicated to the mystic Abū Bakr ibn Wafā. Al-ʿAlwānī wrote his commentary only a few months after the composition of the poem on thursday, 1. Rabīʿ II 1010/29. September 1601. f. 1 has been added by a later hand.
Örnek Metin	f. 1a: الحمد لله رب العالمين الرحمن الرحيم وافضل الصلاة واتم السليم علي سيدنا محمد خاتم النبيين ... وبعد فقد قل العبد الفقير الراجي عفو ربه الشيخ عمر ابن ابي بكر العلواني لما اراد الله سبحانه وتعالي ان جمعت هذا الكتاب وسميته الدر المنثور علي العقد الجديد وقد جعلت نظري بذكر الشيخ ابي بكر رضي الله تعالي عنه وادام نفعه علي المسلمين اجمعين وايضا سميته شرح التائية للعلواني وقد وضعت فيه من الكلام اللطيف النفيس — f. 279a: والحال بدون عمل محال وسبيل القوم الموصل لهم الى الله المداومة على ذكر الله بقول لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله وبها يكون الختام والصلاة والسلام على سيد الانام محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم والله اجل واعظم وبسبيل اصلاحنا اوالى واعلم والحمد لله اولا واخرا
