Notlar	bound in half linen, half reddish marbled paper — The script is large cursive. — paper — The ms. is evidently a recent сору of part of an old book. Babad Pajang (third quarter of the 16th century), episode taken from a great History of Java (Babad Tanah Jawi) in macapat verse, beginning with the death of Arya Panangsang of Jipang up to the tale of Panembahan Senapati of Mataram enticing the King of Pajang’s vassals (mantri pamajegan) to shift their allegiance from Pajang to Mataram. The ladies of the Panembahan’s zenana seduced the gentlemen by their charms. The Babad Pajang is a sequel to the Babad Pajajaran, codex SB Ms.or.oct. 4009, cf. Pigeaud § 25.620 (Lit. of Java, I, p. 160).
