Notlar	brownish-black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Legendary history of the conquest of the city al-Bahnasā in Middle Egypt. This book of folk tales is attributed to three authors: Abū ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar ibn Wāqid al-Wāqidī (d. 207/823; EI2 XI/101-103; GAL I/135-136 S I/207-208; Kaḥḥālah XI/95-97; Ziriklī VI/311) Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Muʿizz Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Muqri'. According to Joseph Karabacek in the „Österreichische Monatsschrift für den Orient“, the printed version from 1290 mentions, though, Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Muʿizz and Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Muqri' as one and the single person (s. vol. XI, pp. 177-178). Some folios of the manuscript are written by another hand than the copyist mentioned in the colophon, ʿAbd al-Ghaffār ibn ʿAbd al-Bāqī ibn Muḥammad al-Makkī ibn al-Sayyid. He was also the former owner of the manuscript.
