Notlar ms. is carefully written, but in some places hard to read — bark — А1: left blank А2-25 and В2: Poda ni Pormasak ni Rambu Siporhas: instructions for the string oracle (Rambu Siporhas). The chain of transmission of Datu-names starts with Si Mangara Pintu and ends with Guru Porbingkas Hata ni Aji. This instruction is similar to the one in Kodex Bat. Ms. 4 from the Wuppertal Museum of Anthropology of the United Evangelical Mission (VOHD XXVIII, 452; A 2-10). The text contains instructions to make oracle strings and a list of oracle places (Pangarumai). Thereafter follows: А11-16: Poda ni Panarama ni Rambu Siporhas: instruction on throwing (?) the oracle strings. The text contains a list of oracle interpretations (Panjahai), related to the position of the thrown strings. А16-23: Poda ni Singa ni Rambu Siporhas: instructions related to the shape (Singa) of the oracle strings. The text contains a list of oracle places (Pangarumai), with illustrations of double strings. А23-25: The paragraphs here bear the names Poda ni Pandaupa ni Rambu Siporhas and Poda ni Panduruk ni Napuran. They contain instructions on the shapes of the smoke of burning incense (Daupa) and a list of oracle interpretations (Panjahai), that are related to the position of betel leaves (Napuran) and rice grains (Boras). End of the text is missing. В1: left blank В2: Continuation of the instructions from side A. The text contains a list of oracle interpretations (Panjahai) with animal figures that are related to the shapes of clouds in the sky (Parombunan) В3-25: left blank Even though the one additional page that is not attached to the other pages also contains a Rambu Siporhas text (end of Pardua Bugang and beginning of Parombunan) that could have been a continuation of the text on B2, it does in fact belong to another ms.
