Notlar Dark brown Oriental leather binding; cebtral ornament of the covers: mandorla with lobed perimeter and an infill of floral scrolls, doublures of red leather — black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — A collection of 78 discourses (maqāla) on rules of conduct for believers and Sufis established by ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī which his son Sharaf al-Dīn Abū Muḥammad ʿĪsá ibn ʿAbd al-Qādir ibn Mūsá al-Jīlānī (d. 573/1177–1178; Kaḥḥāla VIII/27–28; Ziriklī V/105) handed down to us. ff. 1a-9b: written by a different hand as the remaining text folios f. 146a: short poem on the unrestrained obedience to God arising from the realization of Godʾs mercy f. 146b: some verses by ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī
