Notlar	European leather binding; spine and corners of the covers have light brown leather; covers are in marbeld paper with a stone pattern; doublures made of paper — black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Fragment of a historical work on non-Muslim peoples and Islamic history until the end of the Umayyad dynasty (41-132/661-750; EI2 X/840-847). The headlines for the fourth rightly guided caliph, ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (ruled 35-40/656-660; EI2 I/381-390), as well as the sixth and seventh Umayyad caliphs, Abū al-ʿAbbāsal-Walīd ibn ʿAbd al-Malik (ruled 86-96/705-715; EI2 X/840) and Abū Ayyūb Sulaymān ibn ʿAbd al-Malik (ruled 96-99/715-717; EI2 X/840), are missing. The Leipzig MS ends abruptly with the last Umayyad caliph.
