Notlar	sparse marginal notes — Red Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap: central ornament of the covers: mandorla with lobed perimeter and an infill of floral scrolls; a rosette stamp inside and outside of the bevelled corners; three rosette stamps arranged in the shape of a triangle in the middle of the cover margins; envelope flap ornamentation is like that of the covers; frame consists of a line pattern; fore-edge flap framed with a line pattern, a circular stamp toward each of the edges, four lozenges each consisting of four rosette stamps within the framed area; doublures made of paper — brownish-black, red — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — First volume of an adab anthology consisting of 5 parts (qism), 42 chapters (bāb) and 514 sections (faṣl). The first part, dealing with religious and ethical questions, comprises 15 chapters of which our MS concludes with chapter six on envy.
