Instructions on a buffalo oracle (Porbuhitan), favourable and unfavourable omens are taken from the falling of the buffalo slaughtered at a sacrificial ceremony. The instruction is intended for Ompu ni (Ba)lading ni Aji and begins after a short introduction with a long list of oracular interpretations (Panjahai), related to the direction in which the buffalo falls. This is followed by: А38-46: Poda ni Hita tumor Horbo tu Borotan. Instruction on the way the buffalo has to be lead to the slaughter pole (borotan). The text consists mainly of a list of oracular interpretations (Panjahai). А47-55: The here summarized paragraphs that also contain oracular interpretations (Panjahai), deal with a range of subject matters including the measurements of the slaughter pole (Suhat ni Borotan), chasing the buffalo (Pangalele ni Horbo) and prohibitions regarding body parts of the beast that may not be consumed (Rasun ni Juhut).
