By some mistake the first sheet is at the end of the Hds. advised and bound
as sheet 145. Sheet 141 is in the wrong place; its proper place is in p. 203 between
Sheets 58 and 59. Sheets 142, 143 are bound in the wrong place; they form a part
of poem no. 1 in the following volume p. 203. — The Hds. is written with great care and evenness. Not vocalized;
some sparse vowel characters are mostly dots, rarely Greek characters. A peculiarity of the scribe's orthography is the tendency to derive from Af'el

something is missing (the extent of the gap cannot be determined because there are kurrās or sheet numbers

Beginners ܐܚܐ ܫܪܘܝܐ, containing advice and instruction on the best setup
of monastic life. Sayings from the authorities of monasticism are often quoted.
