Owner's mark: on cover, manuscript notes in handwriting of Max Meyerhof.. [1] consists of at least 7 bābs, missing the beginning and end, and is on timekeeping by solar methods; [2] consists of 15 bābs, missing the beginning and the last page(s) of the khātimah, and is on timekeeping by night using the stars and the characteristics of the Byzantine and Coptic calendars. The item in hand seems to have been used for practice in copying.
