Shelfmark: MS Or 452. Origin: Copy completed in Muḥarram 836 AH (1432 CE) by ʻAlī ibn Ḥakīm Tirmiz̲ī (p. 240). Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold and colors (p. 61, 199); polychrome illuminated headers with leaf and vine motifs (p. 1, 125, 157, 305); textblock border-ruled in blue and red or blue and gold; columns and sections ruled in red; rubrications in red, green, blue, gold; some poetry set off by red markers. Script: Written in nastaʻlīq in black ink; pointed; headings in thuluth; pointed and vocalized. Layout: 21 long lines; chiefly in two columns; no catchwords; border-ruled. Title supplied by cataloger; titles of component parts from table of contents (p. 1). Manuscript codex. Also available as a digital facsimile. Formerly owned by Saʻīd Nafīsī, number 3494 (stamp and note in ink, p. 200 [=0]). Sold by Mīrzā ʻAlī Aṣghar Kitābfurūsh [bookseller] to Saʻīd Nafīsī in Tehran in Ābān 1314 (October 1935 CE) (note in ink, p. 200 [=0]).. Collection of Persian poetry with an introductory table of contents by Saʻīd Nafīsī, a former owner (p.1). Several leaves copied by Nafīsī and inserted. They include two poems by Ḥāfiẓ (p. 156); 12 pages containing poems from the margins of a copy of Khusraw Dihlavī (p.197b-197l); and two poems missing from the Dīvān of Ḥakīm Tirmiz̲ī (unnumbered page after p. 259).
