Rubrications in red, green, gold. Script: Written in maghribī script; pointed and partially vocalized. Layout: 5 to 9 lines per page. Title from introduction (f. 7r). Manuscript codex.. An illuminated copy of al-Jazūlī's classic work on the Prophet Muḥammad which has been partially vocalized. The flyleaves are inscribed in what appear to be two hands. The opening leaves include a Qur'anic passage, 18:107-110 (f.1r), followed by the Beautiful Names of God (al-asmāʼ al-husnā) (following 1v-2r). The closing leaves contain a supplication (duʻāʼ) on the repeated pattern of "yā [fāʻil] ghayr [mafʻūl]" (following 268v-269r) and a quatrain (f. 270r).
