Decoration: Polychrome and gold illuminated headpieces (f. 1v, 20v), will gold, foliate marginal fill on the page-opening and the text on cloudbands (f. 1v-2r, 20v-21r); double-page illustration of Mecca and Medina in perspective (f. 18v-19r); numerous polychrome and gold text dividers; marginal medallions in polychrome and gold; gold roundels with red and blue dots puncuate the text; textblock border-ruled in double gold, black and red with page-opening frame-ruled in blue; finispiece in bright blue with floral design (f. 98r); colophon surround of polychrome flowers on a gold field (f. 101r). Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 11 long lines; border-ruled; catchwords every verso, lower left; some leaves have a grid pattern (f. 11r-16v).
