[1] is note: bi-khaṭṭ muʼallifihā al-ʻallāmah Muḥammad al-Tīzīnī al-Ḥalabī. Seemingly high acid content of paper, very brown and slightly brittle, suggests late 19th-cent. date. Purchased in Cairo, 1933/34.. A treatise on the use of the sine quadrant; another text called fāydah fī maʻrifat al-shams appended after colophon, only first 2 pp. of this text survive.
