Notlar Former shelfmark: MS X893.7 K84 I111. Shelfmark: MS Or 230. Origin: Copy is dated 1233 AH and copied by Muḥammad al-Wahbī (f. 303v). Decoration: Gilt and polychrome (shades of blue, yellow, red) illuminated double-page opening (f. 1v-2r). Different types of floral marginal medallions mark text divisions and sajdah. Sūrah titles in white ink on a gold background with red tinged floral decorations at either end. Verse ends marked by gold roundels lined in black with orange centers outlined with six blue and orange dots. Textblock border-ruled in double gold, blue, red. Rubrications in red. Readings in red. Colophon is written on cloudbands above floral fill (f. 303v). Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 15 long lines; border-ruled. Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left. Title from colophon (f. 303v). Manuscript codex.. Complete late Ottoman copy of the Qurʼān. Folios 262-295 are copied on a lighter colored, more highly burnished paper.
