Notlar Note signed Muḥammad Amīn Yūsuf of a Shādhilī Dergāh and dated Ramaḍān 1292 (1875 CE) laid in. Shelfmark: MS Or 477. Stamp with the name ʻUthmān (stamps, f. 147v). Origin: A transmission note is dated 1212 AH (1797 CE) (f. 71r). Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, pink, yellow with blue and red foliate finials (f. 1v); textblock is border-ruled in two styles: gold, black, red (f. 1v-143r, 162v-164v), single red (f. 143v-161v); gold roundels with orange and blue dots punctuate the text; other simple headpieces in gold lined with black (f. 55v, 76v, 77v, 82v, 112v, 123v, 135v); diagram in black and red (f. 30v), table in black (f. 121v); rubrications in red, some headers set into gold bands (for example, f. 30r). Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed and partially vocalized. Layout: 11 long lines. Manuscript codex.. Collection of texts in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish. After the first work, a large portion of the manuscript is prayers attributed to Abū al-Ḥasan ʻAlī al-Shādhilī with other, additional prayers and religious poetry. Main texts are copied in at least two hands with notes in additional hands.
