Copied by İsmā'īl, Shaykh of the reciters at the mosque of Ṭubkhānah (Ṭopḫāne) İstanbul and a pupil of Abū Muḥammad 'Abd Allāh ibn Muḥammad, known as Yūsuf Afandizādah (Efendizāde) (f. 686a). Identified by a later hand (d. Ṣafar 1291/1874) as Mültaḳaʹ tercemesi by Ḥamdī Efendi (see fly leaf and tail). Translation and commentary on Multakqaʹ al-Abḥur, an Arabic manual of hanafi law by Ibrāhīm al-Ḥalabī (d.1549). Some quires (10 folios each) numbered, table of contents (ff. 1-3). Catchwords, rubricated, overlinings in dark-red, marginal corrections. Simple headpiece, clear Naskh hand, double-line rule-borders in red. 21 lines per page, glazed laid European paper (watermark: 1. crown and grapes, 2. eagle displayed).
