Notlar	.Anon. commentary on the Arabic version of Hippocrates' Prognostica; in CCO ascribed to ʿAlī b. Abī'l-Ḥazm al-Quraśī Ibn an-Nafīs (d. 687/1288), G. I, 493, because: 1° the author states that he had written a commentary on Ibbuqrāṭ's k. al-Fuṣūl; 2°. the second text in this volume is a work by Ibn an-Nafīs. One may add that the title: Śarḥ Taqdīm al-Maʿrifa li-Ibn an-Nafīs is written on the top and bottom edge of the volume. Still there remains some doubt, as the author's statement about his commentary on the Fuṣūl is not found in MS. Gotha 1899 (the only MS. of which the beginning has been published), and such a statement is mentioned as occurring in the commentary on the Prognostica by ʿAbd al-Laṭīf b. Yūsuf al-Baġdādī (d. 629/1231, G. I, 481).
