Leaves at the close of the codex (pp.263-267) carry text from Fuṣūṣ al-ḥikam (section on Muḥammad / الفص المحمدي ) and may have been been misplaced when the manuscript was bound. | Shelfmark: Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, Special Collections Research Center, Isl. Ms. 917 Origin: As appears in colophon on p.259, transcription completed 25 Ramaḍān 1356, corresponding to 28 November 1937 and 19 Hātūr [1654], likely in Egypt, and eventually bound for James Heyworth-Dunne (d.1974). Support: Lined / ruled wove paper ; bifolium carrying pp.259-261 loose. Script: Ruqʻah ; quick, compact hand in a medium to bold line ; serifless and freely ligatured with mainly closed counters, slight effect of inclination to the right, pointing somewhat careless and in strokes rather than distinct dots.
