Ms. temp. no. 112 Binding: Boards covered in dark green cloth with dark green leather over spine (quarter binding) ; pastedowns and flyleaves in wove paper printed with a floral vegetal pattern in green ; spine gold-stamped with title and decorative accents over raised bands "مصباح الحكماء | J.H.D." ; sewing difficult to examine ; stuck-on endbands (blue and white stripe) ; overall in fairly good condition. Support: Wove paper. Decoration: Written mainly in a blue-black ink. Script: Ruqʻah ; quick, modern hand in a medium line ; serifless and freely ligatured with mainly closed counters, effect of inclination to the right and of words descending to baseline, pointing in strokes rather than distinct dots. Layout: Written mainly in 14-19 lines per page. Collation: Pages between sections left blank, some serving as 'title pages' (see pp.33, 65, 97, 129) ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization. Explicit: "ثم الفاعلة الباسطة القابضة والى هنا انتهى الكلام على عالم الطبيعة الصرفة ويلي هذا الجزء الكلام على البرز في الجامع" Incipit: "الحمد لله وحده والصلاة على سيدنا محمد واله وبعد فالانسان من بين سائر الاكوان ممتاز بالعقل والظن ومؤهل بذلك لسعادة ..."
