Notes
Written as one column in 19-21 lines per page. Naskh scripts in black ink with some words in red. Leather binding covered with paper and the volume has a flap. It is the commentary of al-Fıkhu'l-Akbar, attributed to Abu Hanife, made by Aliyyu'l-Kârî. In the source text, the principles of faith, the unity of Allah, essential, actual and apostolic attributes, the Qur'an, qada and destiny, the subject of nature, the concepts of khahl and kasb, prophets and the Prophet. Doctrinal issues such as Muhammad, the ranking of his companions in terms of virtue, the rejection of some of the views of Murtaki and Murji'a, and the issue of takfir are discussed. The work, which has been published in many editions (Istanbul, 1303; Delhi, 1890; Cairo, 1323, 1327), was translated into Turkish by Yunus Vehbi Yavuz (Fıkh-ı Ekber, Aliyyü'l-Kārî Şerhi. İstanbul, 1979). Additional information: The copy of the work we have is missing from the end. There is a note in Ia stating that the book/copy was delivered to Hacı Mehmet Efendi. There is no information about who delivered it. Ib is empty. In 1a, there is the imprint information of the work and a note showing its value (5 Kurus). The margins are almost empty except for the correction records. The copy is rejected.
