| Notes | There are 4 serlevhas with illuminated zahriye in the name of Suleiman the Magnificent. Headlines and rulers are gilded. There is fine illumination on the cherry rotten leather binding with miklep and relief gilded sunbursts and corners, and the inside of the covers have carved sunbursts. This Ottoman history includes the reigns of the first eight Sultans (710-908/1310-1520). The work consists of one tali'a, eight katiba and one hatima. At the end of this volume, there is a poem of about 2700 poems in the style of masnavi describing the circumstances of Sultan Selim I. See Sorey, 413, 1306; Ist. Reputation.
