| Notes | The meanings are written in red ink on a gilded background. Y.1b and 3a are also beautifully illuminated and the numbers 112 and 115 of the year are written in thin talisman in the middle of the title altar of both pages. The beginnings of the surahs are paused, the groups cross and prostrate, the rulers are gilded. There are annotations in the hamis. At the end, there are prayers of Iftah-i Qur'an and Hatm-i Qur'an. The last four pages are blank. The outside of the cover of the binding is lacquered with flower images and the inside is moth-colored leather with sunbursts, corners and edge water. There is Persian translation between the lines. |
