| Notes | In Y.1b and 1a, Fatiha and Eliflam are written in an illuminated detached frame, but these and the following leaves, from Y.41 and Y.52 to 198 and from 247 to 327, are preserved in an envelope as they darken under the influence of the ink and become coal and dispersed. The edges of the pages are in halkari, the prostration and hizip roses and the heads of the surahs are illuminated. The inside of the cover of the dark brown leather volume with miklep, şemse, corners and inscriptions is decorated with very finely carved sunglasses and corners. |
