Physical description: 16-20 lines per page, written in naskh script on glazed, laid European paper with a variety of watermarks (leaf 79, "Ponticmoli"; leaf 93, "Al Tarmine"). Leaves 140-192 are of machine-made paper. Headings in large script, keywords in red, overlining, catchwords. Manuscript foliated in pencil in Western numerals, beginning with 20, indicating leaves 1-19 are lacking; record follows foliation. Leaf missing after leaf 57. Text 2 paginated in eastern Arabic numerals, with errors. Text 5 paginated in eastern Arabic numerals. Leaves 138a-150a, 181a-192b blank. Leaves 172-180 belong after leaf 156. Some staining; leaves 20-49 detached from main text block; a few other leaves detached or partially detached. Cover lacking. Incipit (text 2): نبتدا بعون الله تعالى تعالى بكتابة رسالة مختصرة عدد فصولها عشرون فصلا. Incipit (text 4): ان رمت كمال افتقاد الامور الضرورية للنفس . . .
