Notlar Untitled collection of poetic compositions in varied forms and genres by the poet Muḥammad Ḥusayn Nayshāpūrī takhalluṣ Naẓīrī (d. circa 1022/1613), flourishing at the court of the Timurid (Mughal) Emperors Akbar and Jahāngīr. Volume not dated; datable to the early seventeenth century. Replacement folios ff. 87-89, 106-109, 268, datable to the late seventeenth century. Two illuminated sarlawḥ (ff. 1v, 112v) added later, circa early 1800s. Red and blue grid rulings, probably added later. Original Persian and intermittent pencil foliation. Neat to calligraphic miniscule nastaʿlīq by several hands. Occasional corrections and annotations preserved in margins. Plain paper dust wrapper. Folios unbound; stains, wormholes, cropped, paper repairs. Condition fragile.
