Treatise on the teaching of the different schools regarding legal questions (ikhtilāf al-madhāhib). The text is followed on fol. 184b by two short texts on wuḍūʻ, one attributed to al-Shāfiʻī, the other to al-Nawāfī(?) ; by a text on the names of the Prophet entitled according to the colophon "al-Anwār al-Jalīyah fī sharḥ asmāʼ al-Muṣṭafīyah", attributed to ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Muḥsin al-Wāsiṭī (Text 2, fol. 184b-186a) ; and by a duʻa, incomplete at beginning and end (Text 3, fol. 189a-190b). | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 2a)., 18-19 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink. Light cream paper with laid lines visible. Fol. 187-191 are later additions. Kabīkaj and magic square and script on fol. 2a. Collation statement on the lower corner of fol. 184a (partly cut off). Several inscriptions with one obliterated ownership statement on fol. 186b (last fol. of the original ms.). Verses of poetry in Persian on fol. 187a (attributed to Saʻdī ) and 188b. Qurʼanic verses mentioning "Shifāʼ" on fol. 188a. Fol. 190 blank. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "11". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 1016"., According to the colophon, the al-Anwār al-Jalīyah was copied on Yawm al-Aḥad 9 Ṣafar 783 [May 5, 1381] in a Madrasah Niẓāmīyah (colophon, fol. 186a).
