Notes
The author mentioned in his book a number of similes and their names, and what the virtuous people said about them, after he fully defined the simile, such as comparing one to one, two to two, three to three, four to four, and five to five, such as the words of Abu Al-Faraj Al-Wa’ Al-Dimashqi: They said, “When is the clear thing, oh this one?” So I said to them, “As for tomorrow, they claimed the first, then the day after,” so it rained pearls from daffodils, watered the roses, and bit the jujubes with hail.
